C. Clare Pulvirenti focuses her practice on environmental and land use matters, with an emphasis on litigation involving regulatory compliance, site contamination, and property-related disputes.

She regularly represents clients in matters involving environmental permits, zoning and land use approvals, mining & industrial operations, wetland reclamation and water quality protection, Superfund statutes, municipal law, landlord-tenant disputes, and has significant experience in real property litigation, including riparian rights, adverse possession, boundary and title disputes, and easement issues.

Ms. Pulvirenti’s background in geology informs her legal work, particularly in environmentally sensitive and technically complex matters. She has experience analyzing site conditions including surface and subsurface characteristics as well as analyzing hydrologic data in connection with environmental challenges involving soil, groundwater, and land use restrictions.  Ms. Pulvirenti brings this unique technical perspective to her representation of clients in both litigation and regulatory contexts.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pulvirenti gained experience in federal court as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Frederick J. Scullin in the Northern District of New York.

She earned her Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science in geology and a Bachelor of Arts in German from Tulane University.
