Kevin C. Murphy

Mr. Murphy regularly counsels and represents clients on a diverse range of legal issues including: environmental compliance, cost recovery and enforcement matters; government regulatory matters; all manner of business and commercial disputes; Constitutional claims and property ownership and use rights.

Kevin has a wealth of experience resolving both simple and complex non-litigation environmental and regulatory issues involving permitting; regulatory compliance; site remediation; due diligence, audits and internal investigations; the sale, acquisition and development of environmentally impacted properties or businesses; the intricacies of Brownfield programs and property transfer laws and the resolution of federal listing and debarment matters.

A former senior trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, his litigation practice focuses on administrative, civil and criminal environmental matters; the resolution of business and commercial disputes; and the defense of government investigations and enforcement actions. He regularly practices in federal and state court and before federal, state and municipal agencies, departments, boards and regulators.
